Ezekiel 2, print began as a prophetic abstract composition in mixed media acrylic with collage that portrayed the imagery of a divine theophany. The original version featured a blue background, which Anne Reid Artist later repainted to white, altering the work’s atmosphere while preserving its core vision.
In 2018, the painting became the foundation for this digital rework. Using Adobe tools, Anne enhanced the palette by adjusting whites, shadows, and edges—subtle refinements that bring clarity and balance while remaining faithful to the underlying composition. The process honors both the original and its later repainting, presenting a fresh yet familiar vision.
As a companion to Burning Bush 2, this piece continues the dialogue of divine encounter. The two works together trace a journey of revelation, linking Moses’ fiery call with Ezekiel’s vision of God’s presence, each expressed through color, form, and light.
The original physical painting remains unique; this digital version is a new artwork in its own right. Offered as an archival fine art print, it is available in a range of sizes and finishes. Collectors may display it independently or pair it with Burning Bush 2 to experience the continuity between these two theophany-inspired works.
